Businesses are required to designate methods for submitting data access requests, including a toll-free telephone number.
Privacy Policy
Businesses must update their privacy policy with newly required information. This includes an accurate description of California residents’ rights.
Opt-in Consent
Businesses must refrain from requesting opt-in consent for a minimum of 12 months after a California resident opts out.
